Russ Harding and Danny Mellen met and became good friends while working for Walker Brothers Lumber Co. throughout the early and mid 1990's.

In 1998, with very little money and a huge amount of determination, they decided to start Hammers For Hire Design/Build Remodeling. Over the past ten years they have seen many changes in local markets and the remodeling industry, but one thing has never changed, their passion for detail and their loyalty to each other, not only as business partners but also as good friends. The customer has always come first to the both of them and it shows in the relationships that they have established throughout the past ten years.

Danny and Russ have set and accomplished many business and personal goals over the last ten years but they both feel there is nothing greater than being dedicated husbands and loving fathers.

Danny and Russ have many different hobbies including scuba diving, camping, fishing and anything that allows them time away from the office to spend quality time with their families.
