Are you licensed?
Hammers For Hire Design/Build Remodeling is a licensed general contractor. We provide you with a copy of our license with our detailed proposal. We encourage you to require the same of any contractor that you may be considering to complete your project.


Are you insured?
Hammers For Hire Design/Build Remodeling carries a two million dollar general liability insurance policy to protect us as well as our clients. In addition, any subcontractor that we work with is required to carry the state required minimums of general liability and workman’s compensation insurance of their own.


Who pulls the permit?
Hammers For Hire Design/Build Remodeling takes full responsibility for obtaining every building permit on every project. We never compromise; and will not work on a project that does not have a valid building permit attached to it. Be aware that not all remodeling projects require a building permit. It is always recommended that you take the appropriate steps to contact your local building, before beginning any work on your project, to ask if a building permit is required.


Who meets the inspectors?
Hammers For Hire Design/Build Remodeling has a dedicated project manager who is responsible for scheduling and meeting the local building officials on-site for each and every inspection.


Do you offer financing?
Hammers For Hire Design/Build Remodeling works closely with Wells Fargo and GE Money to help our clients find a loan that fits their personal needs. If a loan has already been established, our office staff and owners have years of experience working with many different banks to meet their individual guidelines and requirements.

What is the payment schedule?
Hammers For Hire Design/Build Remodeling will work out a payment schedule based upon completion of designated portions of the project. Our payments are usually divided into 5 - 10 payments depending on the size and scope of the project. Once an item has been completed such as framing, electrical, etc. a statement will be sent to the client in the mail.  


In addition, we would like you to know these key factors:
  • When required, based on the size and scope of the project, a portable restroom facility is provided.
  • No person is allowed on the project site unless covered by Workman’s Comp. insurance.
  • No smoking, loud music, animals or un-professional behavior is ever permitted on our project sites.
  • Our normal working hours are from 8am until 4pm, Monday thru Friday, we do not work on weekends.
